Ravi Mohan Honoured with Prestigious Devi Ratna Award at Utsav 2026; Keneeshaa Sets Stage Ablaze with Power-Packed Performance
Palakkad witnessed a spectacular confluence of devotion, culture, cinema, and music as the grand celebrations of “Utsav 2026” unfolded at the renowned Pallassana Pazhayakavu Sree Meenkulathi Bhagavathi Temple. The highlight of this year’s festivities was the presentation of the prestigious fourth Devi Ratna Award to actor Ravi Mohan, alongside a captivating live musical performance by singer Keneeshaa.
Instituted by the Pallassana Pazhayakavu Bhagavathy Devaswom Trust, the Devi Ratna Award recognises eminent personalities who have made outstanding contributions to art, culture, and public life. This year, the honour was bestowed upon Ravi Mohan in recognition of his remarkable performance in Ponniyin Selvan, his significant contributions to Tamil cinema, and the widespread admiration he enjoys among audiences.
The award carries a cash prize of ₹1,00,001, along with a golden insignia, citation, and a commemorative plaque. Ravi Mohan received the honour at a grand ceremony held at the Meenkulathi Temple grounds, in the presence of several distinguished dignitaries including former Nenmara MLA K. Babu, newly elected MLA K. Preman, Chittur MLA Sumeesh Achuthan, Mattanur Sankarankutty Marar, Prakash Ulliyeri, Surya Group Chairman Radhakrishnan, Managing Director Nithin, Temple Secretary Devidas, and Trustee Mahesh.
