Vijay Karthik, who worked as an assistant director to noted producer-director CV Kumar, is writing and directing a new film, which is being produced on a lavish budget by S Thangaraj under Thangam Cinemas banner. National award winning director Seenu Ramasamy, who has helmed many successful movies, is debuting as an actor through this film.
Shooting for the movie commenced in Chennai today, with CV Kumar directing the first scene. The film is based on a plot that is relevant to all eras.
Arun is the protagonist of this movie, while Niranjana will play his lady love. They are joined by YouTube fame Vijay Duke, Sheimour Roosevelt and others. Seenu Ramasamy plays a very important role and his scene was filmed today.
Director Vijay Karthik is confident that the movie will be a guide for new social change. He added that the film will deeply and diligently capture the idea that standing on the side of the victims is social justice.
Hundreds of supporting actors and actresses participated in the shoot which started today in Chennai where some important scenes were shot. The shooting will continue in places like Villupuram, Coimbatore and Pollachi.
A S Surya handles the cinematography, V B Venkat takes care of editing, S R Hari composes the music and Swetha Thangaraj designs the costumes. The film is co-produced by S Sriram.
Produced by Thangam Cinemas’ S Thangaraj, the film which has story, screenplay, dialogues and direction by Vijay Karthik with leading director Seenu Ramasamy making his acting debut, will speak loud that social justice is standing by the victims and it applies to all societies.
