Acclaimed filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj, known for consistently pushing the boundaries of mainstream storytelling with films such as Pizza, Jigarthanda, Iraivi, Petta, Mahaan, Jigarthanda DoubleX and Retro, has officially wrapped the shoot of his much-awaited 10th directorial venture, which commenced in November last year. The film, bankrolled by Academy Award-winning Sikhya Entertainment, headed by Guneet Monga Kapoor and Achin Jain, in association with Jio Studios, marks a prestigious first-time collaboration between the celebrated filmmaker and the globally recognised production banner. With the film’s shooting wrapped up, the makers have delightedly unveiled an exciting news about Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja getting onboard as music composer.
Making the announcement even more special is the coming together of Karthik Subbaraj and Maestro Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja, who comes on board as the composer for the film, marking the 1540th project in the legendary musician’s illustrious career. The collaboration between a filmmaker celebrated for his unique cinematic voice and one of India’s greatest musical icons has already sparked immense excitement among cinema lovers.
